Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the True Smart Notes AI app (the “app” or “service”) at app.tsnai.cz and the related website tsnai.cz. By registering or using the service you agree to them. The Czech version is legally binding; this translation is for convenience.
1. Provider
The service is operated by Maranela s.r.o., company ID 21447365, registered office Na Folimance 2155/15, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 402043 (the “provider”, “we”). The provider is not registered for VAT.

2. The service
The app lets you take notes in class or at work (typed or handwritten), store photos, files and recordings, and have them processed by artificial intelligence – explanations, practice quizzes, handwriting transcription, neat copies, corrections and translations. Current features, plans and limits are always shown in the app under Plan and limits and on tsnai.cz.
3. Account
- You need an account to use the service. Registration details must be true; keep your login private.
- Users aged 15 or over can register on their own. Younger users need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Paid plans and packs may only be ordered and paid for by an adult – for minors, by their parent or guardian.
- One person, one account. Accounts may not be transferred or shared.
4. Free trial
Registering without an invitation code gives you a 14-day free trial with reduced limits. The trial does not turn into a paid plan automatically and nothing is charged. Your notes stay; you can choose a plan to keep using AI features.
5. Plans, limits and prices
- Paid plans (e.g. Basic and Plus) run monthly or yearly. Each plan includes monthly limits for AI tasks (AI actions, pages transcribed to text, minutes of recording transcription) and a technical cap on AI processing capacity. Writing notes, photos in notes and practising finished quizzes are unlimited.
- Unused monthly limits do not roll over. Add-on packs remain valid until used up, for as long as the account exists.
- Prices shown in the app and on tsnai.cz are final prices. The provider is not registered for VAT; no VAT is added to the prices.
- We may adjust limits for future billing periods; we will tell you in advance about any significant reduction and you may cancel (section 7).
6. Payment and recurring payments
- Plans are paid in advance by card (or another method offered by the payment gateway) through a secure payment gateway. We never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the next period and are charged as a recurring card payment you agreed to with the first payment. Before paying you always see the price, the period and how to cancel.
- You receive a receipt after every payment by e-mail or in the app.
- If a payment fails, we retry and notify you. If it remains unpaid, paid features are paused; your notes stay available.
7. Cancelling a subscription or account
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in the app or by e-mail to info@tsnai.cz. Paid features continue until the end of the paid period and no further payment is taken.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (My account → Delete account). We delete your data within 30 days; you can download it first (My account → Download my data).
- We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breach of these terms. If we discontinue the service as a whole, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of your subscription.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
As a consumer you may withdraw from a paid plan or pack within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason – just e-mail info@tsnai.cz or use the form in the app. By activating a paid plan you expressly ask us to start providing it before this period ends; on withdrawal we therefore refund the amount paid minus a proportionate part for the time you had the service. We refund within 14 days using your original payment method.
9. Defects and complaints
If the service does not work as it should, tell us at info@tsnai.cz or via the form in the app. We handle complaints without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest. If we cannot fix a defect, you are entitled to a reasonable discount or may withdraw from the contract. We keep maintenance downtime to a minimum and back up data regularly.
10. Artificial intelligence
- AI outputs (explanations, quizzes, transcriptions, translations) are generated by a computer model and may contain mistakes – always check them, especially facts, numbers and formulas.
- The app is a study and work aid; it does not replace teaching, teachers or professional advice. We are not responsible for study results or grades.
- We send the AI provider only the content needed for a specific task – see the privacy policy.
11. Your content
- Your notes, photos, files and recordings remain yours. You only allow us to store and process them as needed to run the service (including AI processing by our processors).
- Upload only content you have the right to use. Record lessons only with the teacher’s consent and do not share recordings. Use photos of textbooks and materials for your own study.
- Do not upload unlawful content or misuse the app – e.g. mass automated use, circumventing limits, compromising security or sharing accounts.
12. Liability
We provide the service with care but “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor to consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example for new features or legal requirements. We will tell you about significant changes in the app or by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. If you disagree, you may cancel your subscription and account; we refund the unused part of the subscription.
14. Disputes and governing law
Complaints and questions: info@tsnai.cz. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution at the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz). The contract is governed by Czech law; consumers keep the protection of mandatory laws of their country of residence.
